Yannis Andreopoulos, lawyer on Paros

Ioannis L. Andreopoulos was born in Athens on 21st November 1963.

He graduated the Faculty of Law of the University of Fribourg (www.unifr.ch) in Switzerland in 1989, having completed his law studies in German language.

In November 1989 he joined the Navy where he served till 1991 as Secretary of the Public Prosecutor in the Naval Court in Piraeus.

In 1992 he became member of the Athens Law Bar Association.

In 1994 he applied to Syros Law Bar Association for becoming a member and since 1995 he has been Lawyer in Cyclades with location Paros island, due to his grand-father, Antonios L. Ragoussis, who was born in Paros and had been in Judicature and member of the Council of State.

Since 1996 he has been legal consultant of ALPHA Bank (Paros and Naoussa branch) and enlisted in the legal section of the Embassies of Federal Republic of Germany and Switzerland in Athens.

He has been the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Austria in Parikia, Paros (Hellenic Republic) since 10 May 2019, with jurisdiction over the Cycladic islands.

He speaks fluently English and German, and also French.

Georgia I. Giannitsopoulou, lawyer on Paros

Georgia I. Giannitsopoulou was born in Athens on June 29, 1970.

She graduated from the Law School of the University of Athens in 1994.

She has attended a three-month Erasmus program in English at the LUISS University of Rome in the year 1992.

In 1994, she was registered as a trainee lawyer at the Athens Bar Association.

She has been practicing law since 1997 as a member of the Athens Bar Association, having been promoted to Appellate in 2003 and Supreme Court in 2008. Her main areas of practice is Real Estate Law, and has significant experience in Cadastre and Land Registry Law.

She has been working since 1999 as a legal advisor in land registry projects in various regions of Greece and acted as co-contractor of the land registry project of Piraeus and Vathy Samos.

She speaks English, French and Italian, having obtained the Proficiency (1992), Sorbonne II (1991) and Superiore (1993) diplomas respectively.
